~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Pandemonious
Alias: Pande, Demon
Age: 56 years old
Breed: Dragon-Wolf
Origin: Zachariah
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Rank: Alpha of the Dragon Wolves
Pelt: Grey and White, or Black and White (Haven’t decided yet)
Eye Color: Red
Height and Length: 8’2”x9’ (This is measured at the shoulders. Chest to rear for the length)
Mate: N/A (But he loved Silver)
Whelps: Many (Only Torturous Requiem and Hector are known at this moment. Hector doesn’t have the same Mother as Tort)
Personality: Assertive, Temperamental, Confident, Possessive, Murderous, Monstrous, Has a hidden soft spot, Powerful Leader, Intelligent, War Lord, Non-Trusting
Extra: Besides what can be seen, he has a very dense, leather like, skin that is very hard to penetrate. One would have to have some powerful jaws, plus have big enough jaws to really hit anything vital. Sabers and claws are like steel, and you could relate his jaw strength to that of the Hyena (Powerful, bone crushing, abilities) Besides that, his massive size in both height, length and muscle mass could out power most any creature there is, though it is possible if you can strategize right. Keep in mind, though, that Pande can strategize his way out of anything. He has a powerful mind to go with that strength of his.
Dragon-Wolf History:
The life of a Dragon-Wolf is long, considering that the normal life span is 200+ years, give or take depending on the health of the Dragon-Wolf. Though not Gods, they were considered close to many, and hated throughout the land of Ragonia for their reputation of being ruthless , blood thirsty, killers. However, not all were like this, but their tempers got the best of them. Unable to control their tempers, which were so bad they pretty much blacked out, they tended to do many dastardly things without really meaning too.
As time progressed though, they took root to their true nature of being these ruthless killers, looking down on any within their breed for being anything but. They even took pleasure in re-instating these fears into the hearts of all the other breeds of wolves throughout the lands.
No wolf of Ragonia liked half breeds, but none hated them more then the Dragon-Wolves. If any Dragon-Wolf was found courting with a wolf that was not of the Dragon-Wolf blood line, then they would mutilate them without any farther cause. This was to keep the blood of the Dragon-wolf pure, and was also the reason why all other breeds of wolves hated half-breeds.
The line of the Dragon-Wolf all started back in the age of Dragons. The Climates of the World was changing and becoming less hot. Dragons, needing more heat then the world was then providing, knew their time was coming to an end and needed to do something to save themselves. Not really liking the idea, they knew they needed to merge their strengths and powers within that of another creature.
After debating on the matter, they came to the conclusion that there was no better candidate then the majestic wolves, who seemed to be second in power next to them in their world. But which wolves would they choose?
These wolves needed to be the most powerful. They needed to be intelligent, ruthless, cunning, and over all true to their nature. That was when they came across Zachariah and his group of the most ruthless wolves the world of Ragonia had ever met. They all even fit the description the Dragons were looking for. They needed to be trust worthy too. Not trusting of them, but they needed to in-trust in them to always keep the blood of the dragon pure within them. None should breed with that from which was not of dragon blood.
Agreeing to these terms, the Dragons merged themselves (mind, body and souls) with these wolves. In one all becoming the first Dragon-Wolves to ever exist.
However, a few dragons refused to merge with anything, possibly all perishing as the climates continued to change.
All this happened over 2000 years of the history of Ragonia.
Pandemonious’s History:
Son to the bloodline of the first Dragon-Wolf leader, Zachariah, Pandemonious was born into the alignment of becoming the next leader. Though there were many leaders after Zachariah, it was pre-determined that only one of his bloodline could be the true leader of his Territory that he favorably named after himself.
Even though that was the case, the next leader still had to have the certain kinds of qualities they looked for in their leader. The new leader needed to be, above all, ruthless, and able to back up this nature. Meaning he needed to be powerful, and the strongest of all the other Dragon-Wolves. Like any normal pack of wolves, only the most powerful can be considered the Alpha Male.
Also, unless the old leader dies and they needed a successor, the new leader would have to fight and not only win the fight, but kill the old leader. And sense Dragon-Wolves lived for such a long time, the case that one would die of old age was very uncommon.
It was also Pre-Determined that only a male could rule the land of Zachariah. Though sexiest as that sounded, no one dared to question the word of their leader.
Pande had a rough childhood. Unlike all the other ruthless killers, he believed that they could be something more. That they didn’t all have to be these killers that they proudly proclaimed themselves at being.
Not liking any of the female Dragon-Wolves, he didn’t understand why they couldn’t court with someone that was not of the dragon blood-line, though he was told many times, by his mother, that it was the rule set in stone by the Dragons that gave them this power. Told him that they should never dis-respect the bliss that was given to them.
Of course he would never go to his father, or anyone else, because the punishment of such thoughts was death, no matter how old you was. Even the most powerful Dragon-Wolf feared the death that was given to them by their own kind.
Figuring that the only way these laws could ever be changed; the only way that any of them could be something more then they believed they had to be would be to become leader himself. So from the time he was young, Pande built up his strength. He mastered his skills in everything that was available to him. He mastered his abilities to strategize, built up his intelligence, and in time, became the most powerful Dragon-Wolf of Zachariah.
Of course the more intelligent that he became, the more he realized that there was no changing the Dragon-Wolves of Zachariah. Watching over them, he saw that it wasn’t just that they believed they were ruthless killers, but that they really were and that’s all they knew how to be. He even came to realize why the Dragon’s of Old didn’t want them to desecrate the purity of their blood.
Even though he had came to this realization, that the entire reason he gathered all this strength and skills was all done in vain, he figured it was best that he still followed through with it. He challenged the old leader, his Uncle, to a fight that would determine rather he lived or died. Coming out of it with only a bite mark on his throat and back, he was successful. From there on he would be considered the most powerful Dragon-Wolf of the land. Not only that but he would be marked down in history to be the youngest to ever successor to the thrown. Youngest born as a Dragon-Wolf that was. Pandemonious was only 18 years old when he became the leader.
Pande, over time, also became the most ruthless Dragon-Wolf of the land. With this came his new nick name, Demon.
He would soon come to the realization that sense he was the most powerful Dragon-Wolf, and most ruthless, that he could break the laws, and be the only one to get away with it. Sense he did not favor the female Dragon-Wolves, even after time had passed, he would sneak off and find wolves of other races to court and breed with. He figured that there wasn’t anything wrong with a little desecration.
He enjoyed this many times, but it wasn’t until one stormy night, when he was just resting in the Forest of Exiles, near the village of the Lightning Wolves, that one of them decided to join him. There was something about her. Though she knew the dangers; knew that he could kill her at any second, she wasn’t afraid of him. Though she was not nice to him either.
Never once had he came across such a powerful woman before. Not powerful like the sense that he was, but powerful as in head strong and true to her believes. This fascinated him to no end, even making him put away his lust and need for blood just to see how she worked.
As they quarreled over many things, the storm began to get fierce and it became obvious that neither needed to be staying out in it for much longer. Seeing the entrance of a fairly large den at the base of a massive , L-shaped, rock formation, at the edge of the lake of the Exile wood, they both decided it was best to put aside their differences and share the den, though the female was reluctant to do so.
As the night progressed, both was forced to communicate and get to know each other cause neither liked the awkwardness of silence. However as they did this, they both realized they neither of them was all that different at all.
Pande had no idea why he was even opening up to a stranger. To that of a wolf that was not of his kind. Why some unknown pressure within his chest would tighten every time she looked at him with the now tender gaze she gave him of concern. He had told her his life story, as he proclaimed was just to pass the time, and what his true believes were.
He had to say that he was surprised that the female even believed him, with how much others tended to hate them, and for reasons too. But there was something about her. Something more then he had saw previously. He knew then that she was a true wolf. Magnetic, intelligent, and a real seeker of truth. He believed then that the Dragons should have seeked someone more like her, then maybe Dragon-Wolves wouldn’t be as messed up as they were.
As the night progressed farther, it became obvious that the storm wasn’t going to let up for the night. They knew, then, that they would need to share the night together, but at that point neither objected it. In fact, both found such a fondness for each other that they soon realized that they had fallen. With that came the forbidden love.
Though they both knew they had fallen, they knew their love could not progress. That once they woke in the morning they would both have to depart, to never see each other again. In other cases, Pande wouldn’t have cared if anyone had found out. They could kill the stupid bitch if they wanted to, but he loved this one and knew that he needed to do this so that she would be safe.
As they departed, they both exchanged names. He found out then that her name was Silver. A name he would never forget.
Time went on, and though the thoughts of Silver still rendered his mind crazy, he still found a way to move on. At least that was until a stranger came into his parts. Rumors said that the stranger was causing a bit of chaos and wouldn’t last a day. Other rumors suggested it was a half-breed and that they needed to find who dared to desecrate the purity of their blood in making a half-breed mutt.
Pande, considering the thought that this new comer could be one of his own, set out to see just who it was. Maybe he would recognize the markings on the bastard and possibly mutilate him before anyone found out that he was the father.
He came to a bit of a shocker when he seen who the bastard child was. The markings under the eyes is what really gave it away, other then that the beast looked like himself, only different colored and less Dragon like.
This was the love child of him and Silver.
He couldn’t just up and kill something that belonged to that from which he loved, only. It was then that he decided he would welcome the new comer and keep a watchful eye over him while he was in his lands. Course he couldn’t tell the others that the child was his without endangering the life of his Son. Nor could he actually confess to the child that he was Papa.
He had asked the child where he had came from and why he was there. The child had not so proudly proclaimed that he came from the village of the lightning wolves and that he was there in search of his father. Pande asked the child what had become of his mother. The answer that spilled from the mouth of the child was not the words that Pande had hoped to hear, “She’s.. dead.”
Finding it hard to hide the shock; to hide the ripping pressure that tore his heart apart, he’d just swallow and build his walls up the best he could. Any sign of remorse could give it all away, and that wasn’t good for either of them. Though he cared not for himself from that point on.
As time went on, Pande’s Son, who was called Torturous Requiem, began to question why Pande was being so nice to him. Why he was being favored when he was a stranger. But Pande told him it was better to not question the kindness of ones elders.
Pande taught the young Tort their ways. He taught him everything he knew; all the knowledge and the abilities to strategize like no other! With time, helping Tort to become the second strongest Dragon-Wolf within the lands! Though others disputed about it. Questioned it and would not have a half-breed living among them.
However, with each dispute came a consequence. They had forgotten who ruled and who was the most powerful, so each that had disputed was punished. The leaders of the disputers killed.
Though there were a few who disputed secretively. Those being the members of the higher ranks within the group. Those closer to the leader, and from which Pande thought he could trust. These members began to plot the demise of their beloved leader, and knew what weapon they should use to do the job.
They weren’t stupid. They knew why Pande favored the child. They saw the resemblance and wondered why Pande hadn’t told his Son that he was daddy. However, this gave them an advantage. They would tell the young Tort that Pande was simply using him as a weapon. Saw that the young Tort could use the ability, lightning, and that would play a big factor in gathering more land. They Told Tort that Pande was a Power thirsty leader, and wanted more then he already had. Filled the child with crazy thoughts that he could take over now that he had the advantage so as to prevent such a senseless act.
Tort had questioned why they didn’t want this to happen. Stated that he thought that would be the wish of all Dragon-Wolves, to rule the world! It was then that the higher ranks knew Pande had done well in building the intelligence of the lad, and that would make their task harder.
They pondered on that, but not long enough to cause Tort to see through their scheme. They then just simply stated that they did not want to live on lands where other races had dwelled. That the land they lived on was sacred and that the Dragons had ruled that they never leave the lands for any other. Said with every power, there needs to be limitations.
Tort, seeing no other reason why Pande would favor him, believed them.
Pande stood on the tallest peek of the mountain range, from which they all lived; looking out over all of Ragonia. He saw the beauty of it in a light that he had never seen before; hoping that one day someone would free it of the corruption that cursed the land.
As he stood there, a familiar voice echoed behind him, and as he turned he knew something was wrong. Tort was challenging him, speaking false lies that he knew he couldn’t convince Tort that he was being deceived. However, looking up into the skies, he knew he didn’t want to convince Tort otherwise. He knew it was for the best because maybe this would open the door for his Son to be able to be lead to a more happy life.
Accepting the challenge, they fought, but Pande didn’t use all of his strength. Though he knew he had taught Tort efficiently, he was still stronger. The fight continued for hours before both began to get extremely wore out. Standing there, panting, each knew that if they took the eye off the other, then the other could give the final, fatal, blow. Each covered in blood and near the end of their limits.
A smile feel over the muzzle of Pande as he’d close his eyes. With that he left the opening, from which Tort took. He lunged and sunk his sabers into Pande’s throat and tore through, puncturing the trachea. This, of course, meant the end of Pandemonious. However, with his last breath while he gazed up at his Son before all went black, he said his final words, “My Son.. You’ve made me proud……”
Pande died at the young age of 56 years.
